On Tuesday morning, seven under trial prisoners from terror group - Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) escaped from Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa jail.
The police have claimed to have nabbed one of them.
The seven prisioners broke the wall of the jail's toilet and escaped. While making their get away they attacked two constables with knives.
A high alert has been declared in Khandwa and adjoining areas.
The injured constables have been admitted to hospital.
