According to a report on India Today, Bharti claimed that she was handed over the responsibility of supervising and investigating a rape case which she found to be a false case where in an entire family including old parents, a brother and a sister were framed by the Police Commissioner.

Joint Police Commissoner of Gurgaon Bharti Arora has accused Gurgaon Police Commissoner Navdeep Singh Virk of various serious allegations over a rape case she was investigating. Bharti wrote a letter apprising Yash Pal Singhal, Director General of Police, Haryana of the situation.
The letter written by Bharti reportedly accused Virk of threatening and mental torture.
According to a report on India Today, Bharti claimed that she was handed over the responsibility of supervising and investigating a rape case which she found to be a false case where in an entire family including old parents, a brother and a sister were framed by the Police Commissioner.
She said that this was clearly a case of how innocent citizens were framed by a woman with help from senior police officers. She also alleged that the woman had three more rape cases registered with Haryana police.
According to Arora, when she asked Virk to cancel this case, she was threatened with being asked to drop the case or be ready to face the consequences.
