Senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai quits Twitter after alleged account hack

Well-known journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has deleted his Twitter account after his account was reportedly hacked. His last tweet read: “Time to disable account. Enough is enough.”

When asked about returning to Twitter, he told The NewsMinute: "I have disabled my account temporarily. Changing password and getting account checked. Plus, happy to take a break. Let's see.”

His decision reportedly came after accusations that he was sending out abusive direct messages to users. Sardesai is the Consulting Editor at India Today Network.
