Seminar on Blue Whale game, organised at Maharani’s College, turned into a sermon on ‘acceptable’ women’s behaviour, from none other than ACP Ashok Nagar Ramgopal Pareek, who was invited as chief guest to appraise the students of the harmful repercussions of the game on Friday.

This is highly unacceptable. This shows the bias the police have while dealing with crime against women, said a senior teacher at Maharani’s College who did not wish to be named. Maharani’s College had organised the seminar as part of its initiative to deal with the menace of blue whale among youth.
The lecture may not have cleared doubts about the game, but it left no doubt about the need for gender sensitization among the police force.
