Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and British journalist Piers Morgan renewed their Twitter war as soon as India was crowned 2016 Kabaddi World Cup champions on Saturday. The Delhi dasher's keyboard skills trounced Morgan and beat him all ends up.

Incidentally, Sehwag had trolled Morgan after India had thrashed England in a group encounter of the tournament. He had tweeted, "England loose in a World Cup again.Only the sport changes. This time it's Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18. All the best for semis #INDvENG." Morgan was quick to correct Sehwag's spelling mistake as he tweeted, "It's 'lose'."

Sehwag was waiting for the right opportunity to give it back to the British scribe, and soon as Anup Kumar and co edged Iran 38-29 in the final, the explosive batsman blasted Morgan for a huge six. "India invented Kabaddi & r World Champs for 8th time. Elsewhere some country invented Cricket & r yet only good in correcting typos. #INDvIRN," he tweeted.

Morgan was outclassed by this salvo from the Nawab of Najafgarh but he still issued a reply which made no sense. "Mate, we invented Darts & Curling but I wouldn't boast about being 'World Champions' at them," read Morgan's tweet.

"Kabaddi's not really a sport, @virendersehwag - it's just a load of grown men running around slapping each other," he added.

There have been some past instances when Morgan has managed to own Sehwag in Twitter duels, but this one tweet knocked the Brit out in round one.
