The Supreme Court will on Monday hear the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by an NGO, (Non-governmental Organisation), Prajwala, seeking the intervention of the apex Court to direct the Centre to take appropriate steps or guidelines on the issue of sexual violence.

The NGO also wants the apex court to stop it for a complete ban on spreading such incidents across via media and social networking sites.

The apex court had earlier granted six months time to the committee dealing with the issue and to draft a comprehensive legislation to address all the important issues related to it.
