SBI Clerk prelims result 2018: List of shortlisted candidates for mains exam to be out this week at sbi.co.in

The SBI clerk recruitment exam was held to fill over 9000 vacancies of Junior Associate posts (customer support and sales) across India.

The result of State Bank of India (SBI) clerk prelims examination is expected to be released soon on bank's official website sbi.co.in. The online preliminary examination was held on June 23, 24 and 30 and the mains are scheduled to be held from August 5. Once the results are declared, candidates can check their results on sbi.co.in. The SBI clerk recruitment exam was held to fill over 9000 vacancies of Junior Associate posts (customer support and sales) across India. Nearly 4% of vacancies have been reserved for differently-abled persons. 

Here is how candidates can check the SBI PO Prelims result 2018: 

Step 1: Log on to the official SBI website mentioned sbi.co.in

Step 2: Click on the careers tab

Step 3: Click on the link for SBI clerk prelims 2018 result

Step 4: A PDF file containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will be displayed 

Step 5: Download the same and take a printout for future reference

SBI clerk recruitment process 2018

Seats will be filled on the basis of an online preliminary test, main examination and test of specified opted language.  

The preliminary examination consisted of an objective based test of 100 marks. The paper contained 30 questions on the English Language, 35 questions each on Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

A merit list will be created on the basis of marks obtained in the prelims and qualified candidates will appear in the main exam. The number of shortlisted candidates will be approximately 10 times the total number of available seats (90,000). 

The tentative date for mains examination is August 5. Shortlisted candidates can download the call letter for mains exam till July 23, 2018. The two-hour exam will carry 200 marks and will be divided into four sections - General and financial awareness (50 marks) General English (40 marks), quantitative aptitude (50 marks) and reasoning ability and computer aptitude (60 marks).
