Sanjay Dutt clarifies his presence at the BJP event on Maharashtra Day

Sanjay Dutt, whose family has had a long association with Congress, surpirsed everyone with his presence at the BJP event on Sunday.

After the Bharatiya Janata Party drew flacks from several quarters over 1993 serial bomb blasts convict Sanjay Dutt sharing the stage with its leaders in Mumbai on the occasion of Maharashtra day celebrations in Mumbai on Monday, Dutt on Tuesday made it clear that he was not there at the BJP's platform, he was there for his brother Mohit Kamboj, party's youth wing leader.

"I was not there at the BJP's platform, I was there for my brother Mohit Kamboj and the occasion was the 'Maharashtra Day' celebrations," said Dutt, who recently came out of Pune's Yerawada Central Jail after serving the remainder of his five-year sentence.

When asked if he was looking forward to publish a book on compilation of his poems, the actor said, "I have written a lot of poems when I was in jail. I got the compilation of those poems, let's see what happens."

In his message to people, he said, "Don't shy away from problem, face it and win. Never let the problem to win."
