In a bid to speed up its Lok Sabha elections preparations, Samajwadi Party would hold meetings of booth and sector in-charges during a five-day campaign and conduct cycle yatras in Uttar Pradesh.

"The campaign will start from January 16 and continue till January 20 in which meetings of booth and sector in-charges will be held to review poll preparedness," SP state spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said.

He said from February 1 onwards, cycle yatras would be held in every constituency through which achievements and good work of the SP government would be highlighted.

SP's election symbol is cycle.

These yatras would be led by youths and continue till February 10, he said.

Chief Minister and SP state chief Akhilesh Yadav has directed to hold review meetings of every constituency in which all MLAs and officers bearers are being asked to participate and formulate winning strategy.

SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh had on Sunday held a meeting with all Lok Sabha candidates to review poll preparedness.
