Lawyer Tanveer Ahmed Mir, who successfully defended Rajesh and Nupur in the trial of their daughter Aarushi's murder, has now been hired by the family of juvenile accused in the sensational Ryan International murder case.

According to The Hindustan Times report, the father of the class 11 student, who is being accused by the CBI for murdering Pradyumn Thakur in the washroom inside Gurugram school,  hired Mir on Friday. The lawyer has also confirmed the development.

The juvenile has been accused of murdering the seven-year-old Thakur on September 8.

He was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board after his custody ended on Wednesday. He was last produced before the board on November 11. He has since been put up at an observational home in Faridabad.

Even as the mystery remains as to who killed the class II student, Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor who was accused by the Haryana Police for murdering Pradyamn walked free from Bhondsi Jail on November 22.

The High Court judge had granted bail to the bus conductor due to 'lack of evidence'. The decision was made after the CBI failed to submit incriminating evidence against Ashok that could directly connect him to the case.

However, the victim's family had opposed to giving bail to Kumar, stating that the investigation is not over yet. The CBI, which is now handling the probe, had also stated that they have not given a clean chit to anyone as of now.
