The viewers also belong to different castes and religion and visit here to enjoy the 'Dangal'. The local people liberally donate for the organization of the event and also show their support for the wrestlers by hooting and whistling continuously. As many as 150 wrestlers from different parts of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi participate in the one-day mega event. Over 100 bouts are held in a day.

The presence of a mammoth crowd to witness the Dangal is a proof of the event's success. "These rural 'Dangal' are a mark of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood as the wrestler and viewers are also from various communities, castes and creed which promotes national integration," said sarpanch Sardar Singh. A wrestler from Delhi, Deepak said, "The people of J-K are very loving and friendly.
