With Hindutva outfits under the scanner for attacks on religious places of minorities, RSS has said it is part of the opposition's "disruptive strategy" to link all kinds of crimes with a particular ideology.

The RSS mouthpiece 'Organiser', in an editorial in its latest issue, also accused the opposition of "ganging up" under "dying" Congress to stall the proceedings in Parliament over "non-issues" and said reviving the Sonia Gandh-led outfit appeared to be the main concern of their protest than the interest of farmers, in a reference to their street march against the land bill.

"Linking all kinds of crimes, from attacks on churches to murders and rapes, to a particular ideology is another ploy of this disruptive strategy," it said.

Opposition parties have blamed Hindutva outfits for the several incidents of attacks on churches since Narendra Modi government assumed office. A nun was also recently raped in West Bengal.

Noting the controversy over alleged snooping of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and JD(U) President Sharad Yadav's "sexist" remarks against women, it said these developments diverted the attention from crucial issues.

"Making issues out of non-issues is another strategy adopted by the opposition led by Congress. It ganged up under the leadership of the dying Congress to stall the proceedings (of Parliament)," the editorial said.

The BJP-led government has been criticised by Muslim and Christian groups for not doing enough to check these crimes.
