After the RSS leadership criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party for its rout in Delhi assembly election, now it's mouthpiece Organiser criticises BJP. Organiser takes a jibe on the BJP in its cover story this week. The mouthpiece criticises the BJP for parachuting Kiran Bedi at the end moment and leading a defensive campaign, rather than focusing on development model.

"During the election campaigning BJP remained defensive. Being in defensive mood, it parachuted Kiran Bedi to counter Kejriwal, which gave a message that BJP did not show faith in its own leaders and have accept defeat against Kejriwal," quotes the articles.

The story further questions the BJP' s decision of bringing in Bedi, when they had enough senior leaders in Delhi. It also says that last moment Bedi's anointment had disappointed the state's senior leadership. "During the Lok Sabha election rally in Delhi, Shri Modi declared that he had three 'Vijays' in Delhi: Vijay Goel, Vijendra Gupta and Vijay Kumar Malhotra in Delhi. The three Vijays and Dr Harsh Vardhan are the four top BJP leaders who were upset at being upstaged and they command huge respect among the BJP's Delhi cadres. It seems now BJP paid the price if its rank and file didn't work to win this assembly election," reads the article in the Organiser.

Political commentator Kanchan Gupta also feels that the BJP defeated the BJP in Delhi. "The BJP lost because of its own fight. Results clearly show, that the workers stayed out after Kiran Bedi was brought in," he told dna. Some political analysts also accept that BJP is not defeated by AAP, but BJP lost to AAP

The article further goes on to question on the way, AAP's promises for Delhi. Providing subsidy in power, wi-fi connectivity in the city and installing CCTV cameras will burden the state exchequer. " It is almost impossible to fulfil promises that Arvind Kejriwal has made to Delhi. Funds to states are transferred on the recommendations of Finance Commission and not at the will of the Centre. To instal 15lakh CCTVs, build 500 new schools, 20 degree colleges and hospitals, it requires land to build schools and colleges and the land lies with the Central government. Therefore, now when Kejriwal has assumed the office of CM he must decide his priorities. Better he takes the decisions for the benefits of Delhi. He has to decide what work he can do in limited budget," said Shanti Sinha, former principal secretary for power and finance in Delhi.
