Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) has released the admit cards for the Group D level 1 Exam for the exams scheduled till 29th September. The candidates that have been scheduled to appear for the exams in the next four days are requested to download their admit cards from the official website indianrailways.gov.in​ as soon as possible. RRB is conducting the Group D Level 1 exam in multiple sittings and each day has three shifts. Meanwhile, they may note the steps which are needed to be followed by candidates for downloading the admit card. 

Here is how to download RRB Group D Admit Card 2018: 

Step 1: Visit the RRB official website- indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link which reads ‘RRB Group D admit card 2018’.

Step 3: Enter your details such as user ID and DOB and submit.

Step 4: Download and take a print out of the same for future reference.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had released the exam schedule for Group D's level 1 on September 9. The dates regarding the exam, the release of admit cards and information regarding the sittings will be out by Sunday. The Railway Recruitment Board will be conducting the Group D exam on September 17. This should also be noted that this exam will be held in multiple sittings.

On September 11, the RRB released a process which would allow candidates to retrieve their lost registration numbers. All candidates have to do is enter the DOB and EMAIL ID which they used for registration and click on this link.

The Railways Recruitment board in its notification also mentioned about the mock test. RRB mentioned that the link for mock tests will be available on September 10. Candidates can take the mock test for being better prepared for the main exam. Meanwhile, SC/ST candidates who are eligible for free train pass to travel to the exam centre can download the train travel authority from September 10th to make the travel arrangements. A notice was also released by the Railway Recruitment Control Board on the official website. 

ABOUT Railway Recruitment Control Board: First time in July 1942, as an experimental measure, a Service Commission with a Chairman and two members was established for recruitment of Subordinate Staff on the then North West Railway. The position was reviewed in 1945 and Services Commissions at Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Lucknow were set up under Railway Board. These Commissions were introduced with twofold functions of recruiting class III staff and also tender advice to General Managers for dealing with appeals from subordinate staff on disciplinary matters. 

RRB Group D recruitment exam is at close quarters and it is high time that the candidates plan their last-minute preparations schedule. The test will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT). The exam will be designed to test the candidate's basic knowledge of arithmetic, reasoning and general knowledge.

Here is the pattern of the RRB Group D Exams 2018:

The RRB Group D Exams will be of 90 minutes duration. There will be 100 multiple-choice type questions. One-third marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will be section-wise distribution of questions. There will be four sections namely mathematics, general science, general intelligence and reasoning and general awareness and current affairs.
