The arrest of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim did not go down well with his followers. As soon as the CBI court convicted the self-proclaimed godman, his followers went on a rampage burning and destroying everything in sight. At the time of writing this copy, at least 13 people had died, and a train had been set ablaze. The violence also spread to north east Delhi, with several buses being set ablaze.
People on Twitter were critical of the law and order situation in Haryana and took to the social media site to voice their concern.
