Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said on Saturday that release of separatist leader Masarat Alam by the Jammu and Kashmir government was against the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) arrived at with partner BJP.

On being asked about possibility of BJP withdrawing support extended to the PDP, she said, "anything can happen on this, but I am not authorised to say anything on this issue." "If Masarat is not arrested, I feel that our party will give a consideration on it," the BJP leader said.

To a question on mastermind of Mumbai attack Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who has been released in Pakistan, she said he would prove to be a "Bhasmasur" (self destructor) for his own country. She said India would raise the issue at international level.
