Priyanka Taneja (36), alias Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is allegedly getting a special treatment in prison.

Honeypreet who was at the top of a list of 43 people 'wanted' by the Haryana Police in connection with the incidents of violence in Panchkula after Dera Sacha Sauda chief conviction on August 25, was arrested last month.

Honeypreet is getting home-cooked food as she doesn't not like prison food, reported India Today quoting sources.

The report also said that jail authorities had allegedly permitted a car belonging to the Honeypreet's family in a high-security area.

However, Haryana's jail minister Krishan Lal Panwar visited the Ambala Central Jail and said the allegations were baseless. "The jail staff was not favouring any inmate. The allegations that homecooked food was being served inside jail were baseless. All convicts were being served rations as per the jail manual." he said.

He also added that the allegations of VIP treatment to Honeypreet and her family are not true.

Earlier, one of the five arrested Dera Sacha Sauda supporters claimed that Honeypreet had masterminded and funded the Panchkula violence in which people were killed.

Honeypreet, who calls herself 'Papa's angel', had accompanied Ram Rahim from the sect headquarters at Sirsa to special CBI court in Panchkula on August 25. After Dera chief's conviction that day, she also accompanied him in a chopper when he was flown to Rohtak jail.
