The shubh muhurat or auspicious timing to tie Rakhi will begin at 5:59 AM on 26 August 2018, and end at 5:25 PM in the evening. The full moon of Shravan Poornima began at 3:16PM on Saturday and will continue till 5:25 OM on August 26, 2018, Sunday. As per astrology, tying Rakhi during Aprahan Muhurat is considered auspicious and will be observed between 1:39PM to 4:12 PM this year

Meanwhile, tying Rakhi during Bhadra Kaal is considered inauspicious but thankfully Bhadra Kall doesn’t coincide with Rakhi this year.
