Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday questioned Rajya Sabha member D Bandyopadhyay of the Trinamool Congress in connection with the Leave and Travel Concession (LTC) scam. The investigators questioned Bandyopadhyay for 90 minutes at the CBI headquarters in the afternoon. "I am not involved in any wrongdoing. I have shared everything related to this with the CBI," said the 83-year-old Bandopadhyay.

"Besides, the way CBI officials conversed, the agency should be called the civilised bureau of investigation." According to the CBI, five other former and sitting Rajya Sabha MPs will be called for questioning soon.

Last week CBI registered six cases against six sitting and former members of Rajya Sabha for cheating and forgery in the Leave and Travel Concession (LTC) scam as they allegedly claimed the reimbursements through forged bills.
