The demand for a CBI investigation into the death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, was being "looked into", Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said.

"I am having the matter looked into," he told BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who had written to him requesting him for an SIT investigation headed by the CBI into the death of Pushkar.
The body of 52-year-old Pushkar, an entrepreneur who had married Tharoor in August 2010, was found in mysterious circumstances in a luxury hotel in South Delhi on January 17 last.
