Rajasthan turning into a garment hub: Smriti Irani

Inaugurating the sixth edition of the four-day International Textile and Apparel Fair, Vastra -2017, the Union Textile and Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani appreciated the efforts of Raje Government making Rajasthan a garment hub.

Irani said that the Jaipur designers festival held in the 'Vastra' for the first time will help in providing a platform for budding designers.

She also appreciated that a sari draping workshop is being organised during Vastra. The audience of the workshop will get an opportunity to revisit ethnic Indian women clothing through this workshop.
