Shambhulal Regar, who was arrested for recording a video where he is seen hacking a man to death, has shared two more videos that have gone viral on social media.

DNA has access to the videos, but cannot verify the source, and cannot publish because of its sensitive content. In the first video, which is about two minutes long, Regar is seen speaking for several minutes with most of his words being anti-Islam propaganda. Regar also alleges that his life is under threat from a fellow prisoner, whom he alleges is a ‘jihadi’

“The jail administration has kept me in one of the most protected cells but still a person called Vasudev Brahman met me. Brahman is from West Bengal and is also a prisoner here. Slowly, he tried to befriend me and would criticise Islam and expressed his solidarity with me which made me suspicious,” says Regar in the video

“One day, at the time of defecation I was shocked to see his circumcised private parts and realised he is not a Brahmin… This is the strength of jihadis who in spite of all protections managed to reach me and want to kill me,” Regar is seen claiming in the video.

The police is also conducting an investigation on how Raigar had a cell phone. The DIG of Jodhpur Central Jail assured of action, adding that prima facie investigation reveals that the guards were not to blame

Earlier, in the video that eventually led to his arrest, Raigar is seen hacking and burning to death 48-year-old Muslim labourer Mohammad Afrazulin Rajasthan's Rajsamand. The news of the murder went viral after a video of the horrific killing was circulated on social media. In the video, Regar is seen repeatedly hacking Afrazul with a sickle, dousing his fallen body with kerosene and burning him alive.

Regar then is seen talking of love jihad, and warning those who indulge in it of similar consequences.

He later claimed that he was being threatened by the deceased's community members. He alleged that the complainant had fled with a girl to Bengal and after Raigar successfully rescued her, he started getting threats.

"I have known this girl since childhood and she was like a family member. I used to study with her brother in school and their family lived near us," Raigar said, when questioned by the media.

"They took the girl from our area and I went to Bengal to bring her back. After this, they started threatening me. I am a normal person," he further said.

Khan's family members, who hail from a village in Kaliachak of Malda district of West Bengal, said that they were shell-shocked since receiving the phone call when he was murdered.

"He was murdered because of his faith and they spun a yarn to justify it. I want the murderers to be hanged in public," said Khan's wife Gul Bahar Bibi. She said he last talked to his family in Malda on February 5.
