Rajasthan: 37 people arrested in fake lease scam

Thirty seven people, including a former sarpanch and ward panch were arrested today by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in a fake patta (lease) scam in Rajsamand district.

The former Sarpanch Narayan Lal Raigar in collaboration with the then employees of the Relmagra Tehsil had issued fake 'pattas' (lease) on concessional rates in 2008.

A case against 41 persons was registered by the ACB when the matter came to light and after the role of 37 persons was established.

Those who have been apprehended included, the, IG ACB V K Singh said.
