Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will be on a day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Amethi on February 19 during which he would review the implementation of various schemes of the UPA government.
During his day-long visit, Rahul would listen to the problems of the people and may also meet the party workers, Rahul's representative Chandrakant Dubey said today.
The Congress leader would review implementation of various central schemes including MNREGA and works being done from his MP fund, he said.
Congress also launched 'Vikas Janchetna Padyatra' in all 16 blocks of the constituency today, under which its leaders would travel on foot to create awareness about the achievements of Manmohan Singh's government.
The three-day-long yatra is being leaded by the presidents of block units in their respective areas who would apprise locals about Rahul's vision for development in the constituency.
The yatra will cover a distance of about 45-50 kilometre and propagate UPA's policies through nukkad natak and chaupals, Dubey said.
