A day after former Manmohan Singh mocked and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was turn of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday who launched a blistering attack. In a sarcastic remark, he said the PM had to call his predecessor Manmohan Singh to learn economics, referring to their meeting on Wednesday evening. Rahul also accused the PM attempting to impose the RSS ideology in the country, particularly on education to bring the discipline of 'shakha' in schools and colleges that allows no internal dialogue and thus destroying 'our future.'

Addressing a convention of students wing of his party, Rahul even drew parallels between the RSS and the German forces under dictator Hitler. He said the RSS cadres use the 'German salute' of Hitler and asserted that Modi and RSS were his followers, out to destroy India's diversity and plurality so that he becomes the only voice to be heard as if he alone knows everything.

Further attacking PM's Make in India programme, Rahul said nothing will come out of it, as it needs the common man's power and the trust of the poor and not help to two, three industrialists. "The PM went to France, USA, Japan, China and even Mangolia, but he is still to visit a farmer's house," he said. He also taunted Modi for inviting former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to have an hour-long 'pathshala' (class) on economy just after the latter said the economy is going down at the NSUI convention on Wednesday. Rahul said he would ask Dr Manmohan Singh, an economist of world repute, as to what he taught to Modi
