Rahul Gandhi joined other Congress members of Parliament at the well in the Lok Sabha today during a protest against incidents of communal violence all over the country.

This occurred after the speaker Sumitra Nahajan refused to allow any discussion on communal violence in the Parliament.

The 44 year old member of parliament told the reporters later, that only one man's voice was being heard in the country. He added, "There is a mentality in the Govt that discussion (in Lok Sabha) is not acceptable, everyone feels it." He said all the Congress was doing was ask for a discussion.

BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy told the reporters, "It's unfortunate and avoidable the words Rahul ji has used, depicts frustration."

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut reacted saying, "Congress is a small party, MPs from small parties always come to the well (in Lok Sabha) protesting."
