Punjab: Seven Afghan nationals held with fake passports

Seven Afghan nationals have been arrested by Punjab police for forging documents to obtain Indian passport. Navashehar Deputy Superintendent Sarabjeet Singh said, "We have arrested 7 Afghan nationals who forged documents to obtain an Indian passport. The accused were arrested from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru."

"We issued a look out notice after we had received information about 130 such cases. These people used names and addresses of Indian nationals settled in Afghanistan to obtain Indian passport," he said.
