Punjab: BSF guns down two Pakistani intruders; AK 47 rifle, four kg heroin recovered

Two Pakistani intruders were killed on Wednesday as the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid across International Boundary in Ajnala sector near Amritsar, in Punjab.

When challenged by the BSF troops, infiltrators fired on ambush line with automatic weapons. Taking cover, the fire was appropriately retaliated and infiltrators were neutralised near Border Security Fence.

The security forces also recovered four kg heroin, AK 47 rifle. The slain intruders were also carrying Pakistani mobile with SIM.

Following recoveries have been made from the slain intruders

► Heroin- 04 pkts (01 kg each)

► 7.62 mm rounds: 23 nos.
