PSEB 12th HSC Results 2016 Punjab Board PSEB 10+2 Exam Result likely to be declared on May 14th at 11 am

The Punjab School Education Board is all set to announce the results of Punjab Sr. Secondary Class 12th on May 14, 2016 at 11 am.

The results of all three streams, Science, Commerce and Arts will be announced simultaneously. 

On Friday, the Class 12 examination results were declared by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Girls had outshone boys in the results that were announced on May 13 with the pass out percentage of girls being 84.03 as compared to 71.12 for boys.

Mahima Nagpal, student of RS Model Senior Secondary School in Ludhiana topped in the state, securing 99.56 per cent followed by Komal Rani, student of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Patiala, scoring 99.33 per cent. Third position was bagged by Riya, student of RS Model Senior Secondary School in Ludhiana with a percentage of 98.67.

The board issued two separate lists of topper for academics and sports. Sahil Midda, student of Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimla Puri Ludhiana, was declared as the topper (sports) with 100 per cent marks.

Punjab Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema said, 341 students secured position in the merit list and all these students secured more than 95 per cent marks. Out of this merit list, 76 students belongs to Government schools including 23 students from meritorious schools. He further said that the education department would soon convene a meeting to evaluate the performance of those teachers who had given dismal performance in the examination.

Over 3 lakh students appeared for the exams that were held in March 2016. Overall pass percentage was 76.77% as against 2015's result of 76.24% while more than 16,000 students failed to clear the exam.

The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. The PSEB offers exams for the higher secondary certificate every year. The exams usually take place in March and April.

1) Visit the following websites to access your results

2) Enter your roll number, Name in the specified fields

3) Select your stream from the given dropdown

4) Enter your mobile number and email id in the given fields

5) Click on Submit

Take a print out of your result and you can use it until your school has provided you with the originals.
