Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet for the fourth time this year, on the sidelines of the G-20 summit scheduled in Argentina next month. Earlier this year, they had first met in Wuhan, then again on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, and a third time in Johannesburg in South Africa on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit.
Moreover, Chinese ambassador to India, Luo Zhaohui, had said at the inauguration of the first joint India-China Training Programme for Afghan diplomats, that the two leaders will discuss furthering the friendship between India and China at the G-20 meeting in November.
Besides, ambassador Luo also said China's State counsellor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit India in December, where he would launch the first India-China high level people-to-people exchange mechanism. At the end of the week, Chinese State councillor and minister of public security, Zhao Kezhi, will visit India.
