Announcing the launch of his new political outfit Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) on Sunday, former Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia said that some of the issue that his party will give priority to are building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, bringing about a national law to ban cow slaughter, enforcing Uniform Civil Code, making temples autonomous, and removing minority status for Muslims, etc. The party, Togadia said, will contest the Lok Sabha elections in October next year.

Alleging that PM Narendra Modi had not done enough, he said that if Modi does not fulfil the promises he made before the elections in the next four months, then his new party will be the only political choice for hardline Hindus. He said that the party's tagline will be 'aaj ki Hindu sarkar'. He also said that in October, he will launch a nationwide campaign 'from Lucknow to Ayodhya'.

To build the organisation, Togadia said, he has already started a signature campaign in over one lakh villages of the country seeking public opinion on the demands of the organisation. A 'Hindu helpline' has also been started by launching several small platforms within the party, such as National Bajrang Dal, National Council of Kisan Council, National Labour Council, National Council for Women, and, National Students Council.

Togadia said that his party's vote bank are the Hindus of this country and that he will reveal the party's action plan in October.
