Raising the pitch of his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday directly asked the PM the reason for ignoring his suggestions for 'Mann Ki Baat' last month, saying that Indians want to hear about Nirav Modi's loot and scoot.
"Modi Ji, last month you ignored my suggestions for your Mann Ki Baat monologue. Why ask for ideas when in your heart you know what every Indian wants to hear you speak about? 1. Nirav Modi's 22,000 Cr. Loot & Scoot 2. The 58,000 Cr. RAFALE scam. I look forward to your sermon.[sic]," he tweeted.
The Congress president continued with his attack on the PM in poll-bound Meghalaya as well. He said, "Narendra Modi is not against corruption, he is an instrument of corruption."
"Scamsters like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi and Nirav Modi magically disappeared from India and reappeared in foreign lands out of the reach of Indian law. Modiji's magic can even make democracy disappear from India very soon," he said.
