PM Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind to pay homage to Dr BR Ambedkar on 63rd Mahaparinirvan Diwas tomorrow

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries will also offer tributes to the Father of the Indian Constitution.

President Ramnath Kovind will be leading the nation in paying homage to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar on his 63rd Mahaparinirvan Diwas on Thursday. The floral homage will be paid between 9:30 am to 11.00 am.

In the morning, the President will offer floral tribute at the statue of Dr Ambedkar at Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the Parliament House complex. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries will also offer tributes to the Father of the Indian Constitution.

Other leaders who will pay floral homage to the visionary, includes Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot, Ministers of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, Krishan Pal Gurjar, Shri Vijay Sampla, and other dignitaries.

The event will be organised by the Ambedkar Foundation, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.

The attendees will not be allowed to carry any prohibited article such as bags, briefcases, packets, cell phones, pens, camera, flags, lathis, placards, marshals, banners, firearms, swords, hailers, and other objectionable items. The provision for keeping personal belongings can be deposited in the foundation's stalls erected opposite the PTI building. The visitors can enter from the gate opposite the PTI building in Sansad Marg.
