PM Narendra Modi greets people of Singapore on their National Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Singapore on their National Day, saying India was committed to strengthening ties with the nation in the years to come.

"We are committed to strengthening our ties with Singapore in the years to come," the Prime Minister said in a statement.

The National Day of Singapore is celebrated every year on August 9, in commemoration of the Singapore's independence from Malaysia in 1965. PTI SGI
