Arvind Kejriwal was in for a pleasant Holi surprise when he realised that PM Narendra Modi had started following him on Twitter. Kejriwal promptly acknowledged the gesture calling the Prime Minister 'sir' and wishing him a happy Holi.
The Delhi CM also talked about the significance of the day to say let bygones be bygones and forget all grievances. Kejriwal hoped for better cooperation between Centre and the Delhi Government.
.@narendramodi Sir, thank u for following me. Happy Holi. आज गिले शिकवे भूलने का दिन है। Hope better Centre-Delhi cooperation in future

Delhi CM has often attacked PM Modi on Twitter over various issues and had even called him a coward and psychopath after CBI raided Kejriwal's principle secretary Rajinder Kumar's office.

Delhi government and Centre have been at loggerheads since Kejriwal assumed office, after humbling BJP in the assembly elections. Since then, Kejriwal has often accused Centre and Delhi LG Najeeb Jung of non-cooperation in day-to-day work, a charge promptly rejected by them.
PM Modi also started following Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who replied to his tweet expressing his thanks. The message was retweeted by Kejriwal.
@narendramodi सर फॉलो करने के लिए शुक्रिया। होली की शुभकामनाऐं। होली के दिन दिल्ली वालों के लिए विनम्रता से कुछ मांग रहा हूँ....1/2.

Narendra Modi with 18.8 million followers and is the second most followed Indian on Twitter, only behind Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Kejriwal is the second most followed politician in India with an impressive follower count of 7.28 million. Will this new Twitter parley improve relationship between these two extremely popular leaders? Only time will tell.
