The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has invited senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for dinner tonight in a bid to ensure a smooth functioning of Parliament during its winter session.
BJP Parliamentary party chief LK Advani, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and her Rajya Sabha counterpart Arun Jaitley had earlier been invited for a dinner on November 17, but the event was cancelled following Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's death.
According to sources, all three BJP leaders have been invited again for dinner on Thursday at the Prime Minister's 7 RCR official residence.
