Person carrying live rounds arrested at IGI airport

A person has been arrested for carrying live rounds of 0.32 mm calibre loaded in the magazine at the IGI Airport. 

The incident took place on Wednesday when a person named Vinay Khandelwal, who was supposed to travel to Ahmedabad, was arrested at the T3 terminal of the airport. During screening in his bag, two rounds of 0.32 mm calibre loaded in the magazine were also found. He was asked to produce documents but he failed to do so and was thus arrested.

He was then handed over to IGI Airport Police station along with the seized live rounds and magazine for further legal action. The police have registered a case against him under Sections 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act.
