On Sunday evening, Rajni Patel's office in Mehsana was set on fire.
A state-wide bandh call was given by the Patel community in Gujarat as they behgan their second agitation demanding OBC quota for the Patidar community. One of the other demands also include the immediate release of Hardik Patel and other Patel leaders.
The curfew imposed on Sunday in Mehasana town was lifted on Sunday morning.
Police has made elaborate security arrangements in view of the bandh call but schools and colleges, public transport and trains have remained unaffected.
Also, mobile and Internet services have been banned in top towns of the state like Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Mehasana. The restriction will continue till midnight today.
