India has said it hasn't received any response from Pakistan on its concerns regarding the presence of Khalistanis among the 10-member Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee that will manage the affairs of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor.

New Delhi had on March 29 postponed the second India-Pakistan meet that was to happen on April 2 to discuss the modalities of the planned corridor over concerns that Khalistanis were going to manage the affairs of the corridor.

Responding to a query, ministry of external affairs spokesman Raveesh Kumar said, "We had shared our concerns that controversial elements have been appointed by Pakistan to a committee which was to be associated with the Kartarpur corridor. We are yet to receive a response from Pakistan."

The committee includes Gopal Singh Chawla, a well-known Khalistani and a close aide of 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed. Other members of the committee include Bison Singh, Kuljit Singh, Tara Singh and Maninder Singh. The committee constituted by the Pakistani cabinet is expected to facilitate Sikh pilgrims after the opening of the Kartarpur Corridor.

While postponing the meet last week, New Delhi had proposed to Islamabad that the technical-level meet be scheduled for April 15-16 but Pakistan is yet to respond.

The first technical level meet took place on March 19 at the zero point, in which both sides surveyed the site and discussed the alignment of the corridor.

Islamabad has also not addressed clarification sought by New Delhi, wherein India had proposed the corridor be open to Indians and diaspora, with 5,000 people allowed very day.
