Appeal to put to ban on the exhibition of Indian film 'Haider' in Pakistan has been rejected by the Lahore High Court.

The petitioner, Iftikhar Ahmad, had stated that the Shahid Kapoor starrer film not only defamed Pakistan army, but was against the beliefs of their country and two-nation theory, and even featured some offensive scenes, the Dawn reported.

However, the court dismissed the petition, and asked Ahmad to forward his plea to the censor board first.
