Central intelligence agencies have encrypted a message sent to sleeper cells associated with few "tanzeem and madrasas to carry out attacks on immediate basis" of "forget fundings" from the middle east countries. This comes after Pakistan faced huge casualties on the International Border (IB), and India has a visit of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries scheduled during Republic Day celebrations. There is desperation from Pakistan to carry out attacks across the country.
The desperation has also led to incessant bombing at the IB, but the move has not been very effective in disrupting peace in India as India has strongly retaliated. In addition to the shelling, Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) has roped in terror outfits as well as Indian terrorists hiding in their country to "activate sleeper cells are carry out attacks", according to intelligence inputs.
Intelligence agencies here have sounded an alert to all states to remain vigilant till the Republic Day celebrations saying terror tanzeems are being pressurised by Pakistan's ISI to carry out attacks.
The inputs were gathered by the agencies after decoding intercepts.
Inputs with the agencies also suggest that ISI recently held a meeting with senior army officials and terror commanders at Rawalpindi, Pakistan. During the meeting, terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba ( LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) expressed concern over the losses of its cadres in Jammu and Kashmir and the dwindling morale of sleeper cells in the hinterland.
In the meeting, the ISI also had discussed reasons of their losses in the Kashmir valley and along the Line of Control (LoC).
Indian agencies who were in the know of the meeting have begun counter preparations to tackle the fresh nefarious designs that the ISI will try to unleash in the coming months.
