Pakistan chopper spotted within 300 metres of Line of Control in Poonch

A Pakistani military helicopter on Wednesday came within 300 metres of the Line of Control in the Pakistan-occupied territory near Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

The incident took place between 9.45 am and 10 am and it was in the general area Pallandri in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir

There was no firing or hostile action by any side during the incident.

According to laid down norms by both the sides, rotary wing aircraft should not come within one kilometer of the LoC.

Last year, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets Mirage flew close to the Siachen glacier.
