With only three days left for the release of Padmaavat, the All-India Kshatriya Yuva Mahasabha has threatened to plant bombs in multiplexes and cinema halls that release the controversial movie on January 25 in Uttar Pradesh.

Making a mockery of a recent Supreme Court order, the organisation’s state president Bhuvneshwar Singh and general gecretary Sukhbir Singh warned of blowing up multiplexes and cinema halls if they dared to show Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, despite the green signal from Censor board.

Singh appealed the Modi government to bring an ordinance to stall release of the film or else face civil war-like consequences in the country.

“We will meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh to stop the release of the film by bringing an ordinance,” the leaders said, warning of consequences before general polls.

Both the leaders have also appealed to all Kshatriya MPs and legislators to resign and support their fight against the release of the film, which might cause “irreparable damage” to their pride.

“Our fight will be from the streets to Parliament. We will boycott Kshatriya MPs and legislators in next elections if they do not oppose the release and resign,” they said.
