In a shocking incident, a self-styled god man from Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain labeled AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi a dog

According to reports, the incident took place on the occasion of Ram Navmi when Maha Mandleshwar and Akhand Hindu Sena leader Atulshanand Maharaj during his speech referred to certain members of the Hyederabad Assembly as ‘dogs and frogs’. “On one side we have these dogs from Hyderabad and on the other, you have pigs from the Valley in Jammu and Kashmir,” the god man is heard saying.

“Owaissi is a dog and his followers are like frogs. They only talk from Hyderabad; let them come out of their comfort zone,” he said, while making personal remarks on the Owaissi family. "

 Earlier, one person was killed and five people injured in West Bengal during communal clashes on Ram Navmi.

According to reports, person named Sheikh Sahjahan was killed after he was caught between two groups. He was 50 years old. Clashes started when a Ram Navami procession was going through a Muslim-dominated area in Beldia village under Arsha Police station area of the district.

A deputy superintendent of police-rank officer was among the five policemen injured after violence erupted between the two groups over the Ram Navami procession,  Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Anuj Sharma said. So far 16 people have been arrested.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee directed the director general of police (DGP) to instruct all the superintendents of police (SPs) to take strong action against those who carried arms in the rallies.

"The law will take its own course. I will not tolerate this," she said at a meeting at Pailan, near here, adding that action would be taken against the police if they failed to take measures in this regard.

In the Kandi area of Murshidabad district today, clashes broke out when the participants in a Ram Navami rally, allegedly armed with swords and tridents, tried to enter a police station, the police said.

At least 10 persons were injured when the members of the Ram Navami Utsav Committee came to blows with the police personnel during a procession in the area, a senior police officer said.

The committee, also comprising BJP and VHP activists, had organised the rally from the Kandi bus stand to the Radhaballav temple around 11.30 am, Additional SP (Sadar) Anish Sarkar said.
