Expelled BSP leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui on Saturday floated a new outfit, the Rashtriya Bahujan Morcha, pegging it as "new political alternative" for the society.

Siddiqui, the Muslim face of BSP, was expelled from the party on May 10 for "anti-party activities".

A release from the outfit said it would work at providing political and social representation to all sections of society and establish amity and brotherhood.

Naseemuddin would be the convenor of the front, Brahma Swarup Sagar and OP Singh its co-convenors.

After getting expelled, Naseemuddin had come out with 150 audio tapes of his conversation with BSP supremo Mayawati to support his allegation that money was being demanded from him. He had said that whatever charges had been levelled against him applies to Mayawati also.

He had also said Mayawati's wrong policies led to BSP's poor performance in in the last state and general elections.

He had also alleged that Mayawati had made objectionable comments against Muslims, upper castes and backward castes.

When contacted, Singh said more people from the BSP would be joining the outfit soon which would be extended in order to have a proper organisation. A public contact programme would also be launched for it in the future, he added.
