In a case of suspected gangwar in the national capital, three people, including a woman passer-by were killed and five others were injured in Burari Sant Nagar area on Monday.

While the police has refused to confirm whether it is a gangwar, witnesses say that fire was exchanged between the occupants of two vehicles - a Mahindra Scorpio and a Toyota Fortuner.

Sources told DNA that they suspect the supposed gangwar is between members of the Gogi gang and the Tillu gangs. Apart from the woman, the two others who were shot were identified as Raju Chor and his associate Bhanja from the Tillu gang. Later Raju succumbed to his injuries. Sanjeet of Gogi gang and Mukul Bhanja of Tillu Gang are the other two to have died. The woman, who was a passer-by has been identified as Santosh.

More details are awaited.

Topping the chart of the most wanted gangsters in Delhi is Jitender alias Gogi, who carries a reward of Rs 4 lakh from the police and is currently absconding. His rival gangster Sunil alias Tillu gang is currently lodged in jail. Their rivalry goes back to college days when both of them supported opposing candidates during Shardanand College elections.

After the elections were over Gogi gunned down a member of Tillu gang Deepak after finding out that his cousin was dating him. Agitated over this, Sunil killed Arun alias Commando, an associate of Gogi. In 2017, Gogi gunned down another man as he thought he was associated with Tillu gang.
