One Indian fisherman killed by Sri Lankan Navy

One Indian fisherman has been killed after the Sri Lankan Navy reportedly opened fire at a group of fishermen on the coast of Tamil Nadu, reported several media outlets. The fisherman were fishing between Danushkodi and Katchatheevu. Four others sustained injuries in the incident.

The deceased's name is Ditto whose body is being brought to Rameshwaram. Two days ago, 15 Indian fishermen were detained by the Sri Lankan Navy.
