Following the charges of molestation on one of their drivers by an Additional Sessions Judge at the Tis Hazari Court, cab aggregator Ola on Friday blocked the driver from its platform with immediate effect until further investigation.

"The said driver has been blocked from our platform with immediate effect until further investigation. We will take all the necessary actions and will extend our full support to the authorities in resolving the matter," said a statement issued by Ola.

A 40-year-old Ola driver, identified as Sandeep, was arrested from Gurugram on Thursday for allegedly misbehaving with the judge and was booked under sections 354 (making sexual remarks), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The incident took place in North Delhi's Roop Nagar area.

According to the complainant (ASJ), she booked an Ola cab and she asked the driver to wait at a marketplace.

She alleged that the driver waited for two minutes, then started shouting, threw her bag and abused her.
