Millions of people across Odisha Monday celebrated Holi with religious fervour and gaiety.

Holi revellers smeared colour powder on each other and offered greetings here in Bhubaneswar and elsewhere.

With Lok Sabha elections only weeks away, politicians celebrated with their supporters.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik refrained from Holi celebrations in view of the cyclone Phailin and floods last year that killed about 60 people.

But people visited the Raj Bhavan and shared colour with Governor S.C. Jamir and his wife.
