History repeated itself once again recently when a Samajwadi Party MLA forced the Rajasthan police to set out in search of missing buffaloes! The only difference being, the buffaloes didn't belong to the MLA, and this is more of a revenge saga.

SP MLA from Sadar in Mainpuri, Rajkumar Yadav, was travelling from Kota in Rajasthan to his constituency, when a truck driver reportedly overtook Yadav's car. An angry Yadav instead overtook the truck, forced it to stop and let loose as many as 30 buffaloes from the truck into the village.

The villagers living nearby saw the buffaloes grazing and decided to herd them home.

According to a report by an English daily, the owners of the buffaloes threatened to file an FIR against the MLA if all of his buffaloes were not returned to him. While Yadav reportedly said the cattle was being taken to a slaughter house, the owners insisted the buffaloes were on their way to a local dairy.

Amidst all this drama, the Rajasthan police was busy finding all the missing buffaloes. Since many villagers had taken the wandering buffaloes to their houses, the police reportedly had to go to each house and inquire about the animals.

Finally, the police did manage to find all 30 of the buffaloes and a compromise between the cattle owners and the MLA was made, according to the report.

Rajkumar Yadav is believed to be a close aide of Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav.
